A small Arizona nursery for rare carnivorous plants

Canyon Exotics is a small, grower-run nursery in Chandler, Arizona, specializing in rare carnivorous plants, with a focus on Mexican Pinguicula (butterworts) alongside sundews.

Every plant we sell is grown in-house. Many start as tissue cultures in our lab, then are grown out and only listed once they are healthy, rooted, and ready to thrive in your care. We do not resell or dropship. If it is on our site, we grew it.

We started with Mexican Pinguicula and add sundews and other genera as propagation stock matures. Because we are a small operation, the roster changes as plants become available. Sold-out plants come back in batches, and you can leave your email on any sold-out page to hear when the next one is ready.

Shipped with care

Live plants ship Monday to Wednesday by USPS Ground Advantage, bare-root in a cup with damp paper towels, and arrive 2 to 5 days after dispatch. Shipping is a flat $13.95, free on orders of $75 or more. Every plant is guaranteed to arrive alive; tell us within 48 hours if it does not and we will make it right.
