Mexican Pinguicula

Rare Mexican Pinguicula — the butterworts — grown in our Chandler, Arizona greenhouse. From easy beginner hybrids like 'Pirouette' and 'Johanna' to collector locality forms and compact species like P. debbertiana, every plant is cultivated in-house and shipped live and rooted.

Mexican Pinguicula are compact, windowsill-friendly carnivorous plants. Their sticky leaves catch fungus gnats and other small insects, and most bloom for much of the year. New to the genus? Start with 'Pirouette' or 'Johanna' — both handle ordinary household humidity and forgive imperfect watering. Collectors will find harder-to-source forms listed as they're propagated.
