P. agnata (locality form)

A locality form of P. agnata originally collected near the village of El Lobo in Queretaro, Mexico. One of the more colorful agnata forms out there; under strong light, the leaves blush from green to pink and even deep red. The leaf margins take on a purple-red edge that really stands out.
Like other agnata, 'El Lobo' is heterophyllous. In spring and summer it puts out sticky, glandular carnivorous leaves that catch small insects like fungus gnats. Come winter, it pulls back into a tight succulent rosette. Flowers are white. Matures around 2–3" across.
Great beginner plant. Hard to kill, easy to propagate from the winter leaves, and does well on a windowsill or under grow lights. Collectors love it as a locality clone.
