A striking Mexican butterwort hybrid combining two complementary species. From P. agnata, this cross inherits vigor and ease of care. From P. emarginata, it gains the distinctive curled leaf margins that help retain digestive fluids, plus elegant purple-veined flowers.
The relatively flat rosette features obovate leaves that flush strongly pink under bright light. Blooms are white to pale with delicate purple veining, smaller and more refined than pure agnata flowers. Known in Japan as P. × 'Sakurahime' (cherry blossom princess), this hybrid is prized for both its foliage color and floral display. Like all Mexican butterworts, the sticky leaves catch fungus gnats and other small insects.
