Pinguicula 'Pirouette'
A hybrid cross between Pinguicula agnata and (moranensis x ehlersiae), bred for its symmetrical, pinwheel-shaped rosettes and reliable pink-lavender blooms. One of the easiest Pinguicula in cultivation.
The sticky, glistening leaves catch fungus gnats, fruit flies, and other small insects on contact. Under bright light the rosette takes on deeper pink coloring. 'Pirouette' can grow year-round without dormancy if kept warm, though it may produce a succulent phase in cooler conditions.
Compact grower, maturing around 2-3" across. Works well on windowsills, under grow lights, or in terrariums. Very easy to propagate from leaf pullings.
