P. moranensis × ehlersiae
'Weser' is one of the most reliable moranensis hybrids you can grow. Vigorous rosette, strong mucilage production, and a generous bloomer. Under high light the succulent leaves take on a soft blush edged in pink, every surface coated in sparkling dew that passively traps fungus gnats and small insects. Large pink-violet flowers appear consistently on well-grown plants, often several at once.
Propagated via tissue culture for clean, disease-free, acclimated stock.

Common questions
Is 'Weser' a good first carnivorous plant?
Yes. It's among the most reliable moranensis hybrids in cultivation: vigorous, forgiving, and a steady bloomer. Our first-butterwort guide compares it with the other easy cultivars.
What does tissue culture propagated mean?
The plant was grown from sterile culture rather than divided from a mother plant, so it arrives clean and free of pests and disease. Ours are fully acclimated to normal growing conditions before they're listed.
Is it safe around pets and children?
Yes. Mexican Pinguicula are non-toxic, and the leaves only catch small insects.
Beginner-friendly. Pet-safe. Ships from Arizona.
